EVA

Eva is a DLH female, estimated to be around one year old.

Eva spends her days sleeping in a box near our local grocery store. On each trip, she makes sure to give us a warm welcome as we pass by. She is an extremely sweet and friendly cat, and an all-around pleasure to be with.

Eva appears to need an injection for scabies, as we suspect she might have a mild case. We are also suspicious that she might be pregnant, and for that we would like to get her spayed urgently. Any donations to Eva will go towards both of these treatments.

"Eva is a female given name, the Latinate counterpart of English Eve, derived from a Hebrew name meaning "life" or "living one". It can also mean full of life or mother of life."

A note from one of our supporters who chose Eva's name:

"...I wish to name her after my trans-fem friend. Her family helps the RSPCA by fostering lots of kittens (she really loves to participate and help them!). Perhaps the story behind (the cat's) name might inspire others to help as well! To know that many others feel love for strays and they're not alone (even though it's always feels like an uphill battle to help all the animals)."
