Our Mission
To feed and provide medical treatment for Rabat’s stray cats and dogs, with the hopes of one day expanding into an all encompassing shelter where these animals can be cared for safely while they wait to be adopted into their forever homes. Additionally, we hope to address the root of the overpopulation problem by providing sterilization for as many animals as possible. We advocate for change to the city’s current approach to managing strays, and dream of a day when we will all work together to provide these animals with the care, love, and respect that they both need and deserve.
Cat of the Month
Malika is a DSH female, estimated to have been born at the end of June, 2023. She is currently a resident of our shelter.
We found Malika as a kitten in the middle of tram tracks, where she was crying out and following every person that walked by. We initially scooped her up and put her back to a safe place, but every day we would see her back on the tracks again doing the same thing. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for kittens to get struck by these trams. So, to keep Malika safe, we decided she had to be taken into the shelter...learn more
