JACK

Jack is a DSH male, estimated to be born in 2017. He is currently a resident of our shelter.

For many years, Jack was one of the regular strays that we fed on our feeding tours. He was a very friendly and happy boy, who was always excited to see us. Unfortunately, one day Jack disappeared. We went months without seeing him, until he suddenly turned up again. He was sick, thin, and had a large abdominal wound. We happened to be trapping that day for TNVR, so we scooped him up and took him to the vet. Jack stayed in ICU for months, until he finally showed enough improvement to come home with us to the shelter.

These days, Jack is slowly but surely putting weight back on. He is a very sweet boy, though not completely back to his friendly and happy self. We think that his injuries took a lot out of him and that it will take time for him to be completely back to normal. However, he makes progress every day!

Jack can be rehomed as either a single cat, or in a household with other cats his age and of calm nature.
