VINCENT

*Reserved*

Vincent is a male DSH, estimated to be around two years old. He is currently a resident of our shelter.

Vincent was previously a healthy stray taken care of by Hajar on the streets for just over one year. On one of the food tours, Hajar noticed that he was suddenly very ill and struggling to walk. So, she took him into the shelter for treatment. Vincent's road to recovery has been long, and we were worried that he would not pull through. However, he fought hard and was able to completely overcome the calicivirus he was suffering from. Unfortunately, his ataxia has not fully healed yet and he does struggle to walk from time to time. We are hopeful that this will continue to improve with time.

Initially, Vincent was fearful of his new environment in the shelter. However, over time he has started to enjoy his life indoors and has become accustomed to a life with a constant food supply. He loves to be spoiled and treated like a prince. Consequently, Vincent has put on quite a bit of weight and would need a home where his diet can be monitored.

Vincent gets along very well with other cats and loves their company. He would be well suited to a home with at least one other cat to hang out with.

Reason for special needs: ataxia
